Plain-English terms for using Famstamp, made by Dark Lighthouse Solutions. By using the app you agree to them, and to our privacy policy.

Who can use it

An adult (18 or older) sets up and runs the app for their family. Kids may use it with that adult's permission and supervision, and only a parent or legal guardian may make a kid code for a child to join on their own device. The adult is responsible for the kids' profiles and for anyone they invite to their family. Share follow links and invite codes only with people you trust.

Your content

Your trips, notes, drawings and photos are yours. You give us only the permission we need to store and show them to you and the family members you invite. Don't upload anything you don't have the right to share, or anything unlawful or hurtful.

Stamps and places

Famstamp stamps are a family keepsake made by the app. They aren't official park or agency stamps, and the app isn't affiliated with any park, agency or venue unless we say so. Check opening times and safety information with the place itself before you go.

Free and paid features

The app is free to use today. If we add paid features, we'll show the price and terms before you buy, and checkout is handled by our payment provider. Any free trial or refund terms will be shown at checkout. There are no ads in the app.

Invite a family

When a family you invite starts their own family log with your link, both families get 1 free month of Premium once paid plans start. Nothing is charged today, the free month has no cash value, and it's one free month per invited family. We may end the offer for new invites, but we'll honor free months already earned.

Keep a backup

We work hard to keep your data safe, but the app is provided "as is" and data stored only on your device can be lost if the device or browser storage is cleared. Please export a backup now and then.

Limits

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses or for lost data, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law.

Ending

You can stop using the app and delete your data any time (how). We may suspend accounts that misuse the service.

Changes

We'll update the date above when these terms change and tell you in the app about important changes.
